TerraTight Sealant is touch-dry within 2–4 hours and fully cured in 24–48 hours per coat. We recommend waiting at least 24 hours before exposing the surface to water, and 48 hours before heavy foot traffic. For best results, apply 2 thin coats and allow each coat to dry fully before applying the next.
Is TerraTight Sealant safe for pets and children?
Yes. TerraTight Waterproof Sealant is a water-based, non-toxic formula. Once fully cured (48–72 hours), it is completely safe for pets, children, and plants. During application, ensure good ventilation and keep pets and children away from wet surfaces.
Can it be applied on wet or damp surfaces?
For best adhesion, surfaces should be clean and dry. Light moisture is acceptable, but standing water, oily residues, or dust will reduce bonding strength. We recommend cleaning the surface thoroughly and allowing it to dry completely before application.
Will it yellow or fade under UV exposure?
No. TerraTight Sealant is engineered with UV-stable resins and will remain crystal clear over time. Unlike traditional silicone or oil-based sealants that yellow within 1–2 years, our water-based formula has been tested under harsh UAE sun and maintains its transparent finish.

Coverage depends on surface porosity and number of coats. The 2L bottle covers approximately 8–12 m² per coat. The 15L bucket covers approximately 60–90 m² per coat. We recommend 2 coats for full waterproof protection, so divide these numbers by 2 for total project coverage.
Can I paint over TerraTight Sealant after it dries?
We do not recommend painting over the sealant, as it would obscure the transparent finish that gives TerraTight Sealant its key advantage. If a colored finish is required, apply paint first, allow it to dry completely, then apply TerraTight Sealant as the protective top coat.
Does it work in extreme heat such as the UAE summer (50°C+)?
Yes. TerraTight Sealant was developed and tested specifically for the harsh Middle East climate. Once cured, it withstands temperatures from -20°C to 80°C without cracking, melting, or losing adhesion. Application itself should be done between 5°C and 40°C for optimal curing.
